my focus is on functional (not just decorative) glass pieces, from custom-designed lamp shades to free-standing lanterns and vintage glass restoration. glass is a unique medium in that it inherently interacts with a light source to create a mood or a feeling... dare i say... a vibe. these are a few favorite projects i’ve had the privilege to create.

I made these hanging lamp shades for Fortunati Pizza in Kansas City, MO. They’re a modern take on the dine-in pizzaria experience of late 20th century America. The rough design came to the owner in a dream and I brought it to life. They are my largest project to date (96 pepperonis!!!). This image also happens to be the most upvoted post of all time on r/stainedglass. Summer 2023.
This piece was made in collaboration with stellar textile artist Lily Mueller. As I love doing, we played with the idea of a liminal dream-scape to create these sibling-pieces.
This special cherry blossom lantern is an original custom design comissioned in Spring 2022.
This piece is a great example of how glass+light can transform the ambiance of a room.
This clock was made in collaboration with craftsman Jared Clements. Making work that breathes live into someones home or space is my favorite part of creating. GOOVY BABY
Plants in window at sunset. I love the dimentionality of this piece. It’s a great example of a window-hanging “suncatcher”,
the most common type of glass piece these days. Comissioned Christmas 2023.
I love creating liminal spaces that take the viewer to a surreal environment. What if I was standing in this place? What would it smell like? What would the temperature be? I’m also a sucker for wavy and amoeba-like shapes that contrast with the sharp, angular rigidity of glass.
These art deco lamps came to me with no diffusers. I used this beautiful “Coke bottle” glass to create these
new diffusers from scratch, breating new life into these antique lamps. January 2024.
